I have been in business for 11 years, and I have heard from thousands of women that they feel lonely. It is real. But I also want to gently name the other side of that, which is that loneliness often shows up because we are waiting for community instead of being a villager ourselves.

There is a saying doing the rounds on the internet right now. Everybody wants a village, but no one is prepared to be a villager. That one has been sitting with me.
