Top 3 Tips for Starting an Online Store
- Never be afraid to just start very small with one product or one range. Starting is the main thing, you can expand from there at your own pace. Position yourself in the marketplace and then bloom or branch out from there.
- Spend time nurturing relationships with other bizmamas. I find Instagram is a great place to find likeminded souls. I’d also recommend seeking at least one quality mentor. Your mentor doesn’t have to be in the same field as you, they just have to be somebody who will help you reflect with honesty on what you’re doing.
- Take quality photographs, the best that you possibly can. Take a course, find the best lighting for your product. If you can’t do it yourself it is absolutely worth paying someone to help you or to do it for you.
