“What I'd like to know is how to attract patients to my private practice. I am a psychologist. I cannot use prices to lure patients according to our council. So, what is the best way to advertise and how should I do that?”

>> [3:55] I’m going to assume that you would be in Stage One of the Social Method. I call those ladies my “Social Go-Getters”.

>> [4:24] In order to progress to Stage Two, which I call “Social Storytellers” you really need to have a few key milestones ticked off, including being set up on Instagram AND having a very clear and well optimized bio.

YOUR INSTAGRAM BIO

>> [5:17] Your Instagram Bio is that small section that sits at the top of your profile. So claim your space on Instagram by signing up for an IG Business account.

>> [6:13] Create a username (up to 30 characters) and write your bio (up to 150 characters).

>> [7:25] Make sure your account speaks to EXACTLY who you most want to serve. A clear bio always communicate what you do, who for and HOW.

>> [8:03] If you’re really unclear on who you are targeting on Instagram than we recommend that you spend some time learning about how to profile your ideal customer/client because this really is the foundation of ALL marketing. It takes you from shouting at everyone to speaking to someone. It helps you stand out and cut through the noise. We teach this in the Social Method Society.

WHAT YOUR INSTAGRAM BIO SHOULD DO

>> [10:50] Finally, your IG bio should send them somewhere!!! When you’re setting up your profile or even if you want to edit your profile, you’ll see an option to add a link to your website.

>> [11:23] You’ll be able to send people to this link via your captions in your post. This is what people are doing when they say “click the link in my bio” or “click the link in my profile.”

YOUR INSTAGRAM MARKETING

>> [12:20] Of course getting set up is really just the beginning, your foundation of your Instagram marketing. There are so many ways to find your customers and clients on Instagram like hashtags, content strategy and thoughtful collaborations, etc.
